Harvey - and the circulation of Blood
Harvey - and the circulation of Blood

Pointer in hand, William Harvey, seventeenth century English Physician, used demonstrations to prove his revolutionary theory of blood circulation during lectures in anatomy before the College of Physicians of London.

Published in 1628, his book, De Motu Cordis, brought whole new concepts of circulation of blood and of anatomy of medicine.

Harvey lived to see this theory accepted.
